Privacy policy

What ScreenerCharts stores about visitors (very little), why, and how to remove it.

Last updated 3 November 2026.

You can use every tool on ScreenerCharts without an account, a name or an e-mail address.

Kept in your own browser

Your watchlist, portfolio, saved scans, paper-trading account, light/dark theme and market choice (India or US) are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us unless you sign in (below). Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Cookies

We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.

Visitor statistics

We count page views, how many different visitors came each day, which pages were read and which website a visitor came from. A visitor is counted with a one-way code made from that day's secret, the IP address and the browser name; the secret and the codes are deleted at the end of each day, so only totals remain. IP addresses are not stored, and our web server does not keep access logs.

Telegram sign-in and alerts (optional)

If you sign in with Telegram, we store your Telegram user number and display name, and your watchlist, portfolio, saved scans and paper-trading account, so they appear on your other devices. If you set a price or scan alert, we store the alert and the Telegram chat it should be sent to. Signing out removes the sign-in from that browser; deleting your alerts (or sending /stop to the bot) removes them. To have your stored data deleted completely, ask on the contact page.

Contact form

A message you send is forwarded to the site owner on Telegram with the name and e-mail address you chose to include. It is not stored on our server.

Other services your browser talks to

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and the chart library from the jsDelivr network; those services receive your IP address as part of the normal web request. Links to filings open on nseindia.com or sec.gov.

Where the data is kept

On one server at Oracle Cloud. Nightly backups copy market recordings only (no visitor data) to Oracle Object Storage.
